What is ENERGY?

ENERGY is a study that will begin to test a diet and exercise weight management program for women diagnosed with breast cancer. ENERGY is funded by the National Cancer Institute and will invite 800 women diagnosed with breast cancer within the past 5 years to participate. The study is being done in Alabama, California, Missouri and Colorado. The purpose of this project is to explore whether two different programs that are focused on weight management through increased exercise and a healthy diet are feasible and have an impact on body weight.
