Plastic surgery residents participate in a cadaver lab with visiting professor Lorne Rosenfield, MD, (5th from left) in February 2017. Dr. Rosenfield is a board-certified plastic surgeon in private practice in Burlingame, California, and an active clinical professor of plastic surgery at both the University of California – San Francisco and Stanford University. His special interests include facial cosmetic rejuvenation surgery, body contouring post massive weight loss and operating room safety.

In May 2016, faculty and residents enjoyed a night out at Ballpark Village watching the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Chicago Cubs with visiting professor, Michael Zenn, MD (third from left). Dr. Zenn is a professor of plastic surgery at Duke University. While here, he spoke about flap resection and one-stage breast reconstruction with nipple-sparing mastectomy and implants.
Randolph Sherman, MD, FACS, vice chairman of surgery from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, (seated third from left) was a visiting professor in March 2016. While here, the native St. Louisan made a presentation titled, “Composite Reconstruction of the Upper Extremity” and listened to residents present a variety of cases.
Joseph Gryskiewicz, MD, FACS (seated second from left), from Gryskiewicz Twin Cities Cosmetic Surgery, PA, in Minnesota, was a visiting professor in December 2015. While here, he made several presentations to plastic surgery residents covering topics including medical ethics and rhinoplasty.
