In addition to clinical work Dr. Hawkins is engaged in education and research. He leads a basic science laboratory dedicated to finding a cure for pancreatic cancer.

Research Interests: Pancreatic Cancer, immunology, drug development, surgical innovation

Clinical Trials


Dr. Hawkins leads an active clinical trials program. At any given time there are several open clinical trials for pancreatic cancer.

Dr. Hawkins is an inventor on 6 patents. He is a founder of Accuronix Therapeutics a small company that works in drug discovery.
