Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency Q&A Sessions

The Washington University Plastic Surgery Residency is a six-year integrated program, including 4 ½ years of training in breast, craniofacial, pediatrics, head/neck trauma, hand, microsurgery, cosmetic and peripheral nerve surgery. The program provides cutting-edge head-to-toe surgical training that prepares residents and fellows to be leaders in the specialties of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Program faculty and residents are hosting virtual informational sessions for interested medical students and potential applicants this summer.

Informal Q&A sessions with just the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residents:

• Wednesday, August 12 from 9-10 a.m. CST
• Wednesday, September 23 from 9-10 a.m. CST

These informal sessions are a great opportunity for potential applicants to get an insider’s perspective into the residency program, the School of Medicine, life in St. Louis and any other questions, in a friendly, low-pressure environment.

For those interested in participating in the informal Q&A sessions, please register by contacting Program Coordinator Stephanie Martino at paule@wustl.edu.

In addition, the American Council of Academic Plastic Surgeons (ACAPS) is offering a Virtual Meet & Greet Program. These 90-minute interactive Zoom ACAPS Meet & Greets provide an opportunity to interact with program faculty and residents while learning more about the Plastic Surgery Residency program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

The Plastic Surgery Residency at the School of Medicine will host an ACAPS Meet & Greet on Thursday, August 13, from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. CST.

Register for the ACAPS Meet & Greet to learn more about the program!
