Meet Dr. Silviera 

Dr. Matthew Silviera is a colorectal surgeon specializing in anorectal diseases, inherited colorectal cancer and hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes. 

He has expertise in neoadjuvant therapy, surgery and non-operative management of rectal cancer. 

Dr. Silviera earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed general surgery residency training at Temple University Hospital and a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at WashU Medicine.

Dr. Silviera serves as director for the colon and rectal surgery fellowship at WashU Medicine.
