The Office of Surgical Education is centrally located in Wohl Hospital and is comprised of education specialists spanning the Department of Surgery. This team of professionals oversee all administrative operations to support the surgical training programs within the department. This includes all undergraduate medical education and graduate medical education programs, which are accredited by Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), and other accreditation bodies. The staff also collaborate with Washington University’s Continuing Medical Education office to provide CME credits to participants who attend eligible educational events.
