Meet Dr. Kozower
Dr. Benjamin Kozower is a thoracic surgeon specializing in treatments for lung cancer and other forms of cancer, as well as benign esophageal disorders, hyperhidrosis, chest wall problems, and other types of general thoracic surgery.
He has expertise in minimally invasive approaches, including robotic surgery, that often result in less pain, shorter hospital stays and quicker recovery times.
Dr. Kozower earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester in New York. He completed general surgery residency training at the University of Connecticut and a thoracic surgery residency at WashU Medicine.
If I could offer one piece of advice, it would be this: If you are eligible for lung cancer screening, get screened. Lung cancer screening is more effective than any other cancer screening, and early detection can save lives.
