Research interests
Dr. Mou’s research focuses on implementing patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) in a clinically meaningful way for patients undergoing bariatric surgery. PROMs are a critical component of healthcare quality, but they have played a relatively small role in clinical practice. Additionally, he is interested in integrating bariatric surgery with weight loss medications to optimize outcomes for patients.
