Michael Bonebrake, MD, a trauma surgeon, has joined the Section of Critical Care Surgery as an assistant professor.
Bonebrake joins WashU Medicine after having served as an attending physician at SSM, St. Clare in Fenton, MO since 2018. He has been an American Board of Surgery certified surgeon since 2013, recertified in 2023, and also obtained board certification in surgical critical care in 2014.
Bonebrake earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. He completed general surgery residency training at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA, and surgical critical care fellowship at WashU Medicine.
Bonebrake will be seeing patients at Christian Hospital.
