Areas of Research Interest
Dr. Westman’s research focuses on translating novel technologies from bench to bedside. In collaboration with plastic surgeons, projects are currently focused on tissue perfusion assessment and devices to improve surgical techniques. Her work ranges from in vivo to clinical studies and uses computational models to improve the efficacy and efficiency of technology development.
