Meet Dr. Martin

Dr. Colin Martin is director of pediatric surgery at WashU Medicine and surgeon-in-chief at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He is a pediatric surgeon specializing in intestinal rehabilitation surgery.

He has expertise in intestinal and colorectal surgery, hernias, pediatric tumors, and other general pediatric conditions.

Dr. Martin earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He completed general surgery residency training at University of Cincinnati and a pediatric surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University Children’s Hospital in Nashville.

The best part about working with kids is that I get to be a protector and guardian. I love helping the kids who come to see us.
