Meet Dr. Eghtesady
Dr. Pirooz Eghtesady is a pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in heart procedures for infants, children and people with congenital heart problems.
He has expertise in complex cardiac reconstruction, congenital heart defects, neonatal heart procedures and other forms of complex cardiac surgery.
Dr. Eghtesady earned his medical degree from University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine. He completed general surgery residency training at Stanford University Hospital and cardiothoracic surgery residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Eghtesady completed a pediatric cardiac surgery fellowship at UCSF/Stanford University Hospital.
