Are you interested in learning about new technologies in surgery?
The 28th Annual Refresher Course & Update in General Surgery runs from Thursday, Feb. 27 through Saturday, Feb. 29 at the Ritz-Carlton in St. Louis, Mo. This three-day Continuing Medical Education course is a great chance to learn about new technology in general surgery and work collaboratively with other surgeons.
Course chairs Jeffrey A. Blatnik, MD, and Majella Doyle, MD, MBA, will cover topics focused on decision-making, innovative practices, and cost-effective diagnostic approaches for general surgery. Interactive case presentations and panel discussions provide a chance for audience involvement throughout the course.
There are additional specialized courses in Evidence Based Management of Abdominal Wall Hernias and General Surgery Operating Room Observation Day, both on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020. These Wednesday courses are optional, and require separate enrollment from the Refresher Course.
The Midwest region’s most comprehensive general surgery review course provides an opportunity to earn American Board of Surgery Maintenance of Certification self-assessment credits. The daily case panel discussions are approved for American Medical Association credits and American Nursing Credentialing Center Association contact hours.
