Meet Dr. Li

Dr. Xiaowei Li is a is an investigator in the plastic surgery research laboratories at WashU Medicine.

His research focuses on biomaterials development, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.

Dr. Li earned his doctorate in bioengineering from Clemson University. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in stem cell research at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

My work does not involve seeing patients directly, but my work in the laboratories will help the patients that my colleagues see in the operating rooms.
