Meet Dr. Kreisel
Dr. Daniel Kreisel is a thoracic surgeon specializing in lung cancer surgery and lung transplant.
He is the surgical director of lung transplantation at the WashU Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Transplant Center. Dr. Kreisel also leads a research laboratory focused on lung transplant immunology.
Dr. Kreisel earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai-Icahn School of Medicine in New York. He completed general surgery residency training at University of Pennsylvania, where he also earned his doctorate in immunology. Dr. Kreisel completed a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at WashU Medicine.
