Meet Dr. Fox 

Dr. Ida Fox is a plastic surgeon specializing in arm and hand surgery to restore function after hand trauma. 

She has expertise in nerve transfer, nerve repair, nerve decompression, and trigger finger release surgery. 

Dr. Fox earned her medical degree from University of Rochester School of Medicine. She completed plastic surgery residency training at University of Rochester strong Memorial Hospital and a peripheral nerve research fellowship and hand and microsurgery fellowship at WashU Medicine. 

I am proud of the challenging and rewarding work we do at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University. Practicing biophysical medicine means doing what’s right for the right person at the right time.
