Allie Kidd, MD, MPH, joins the Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery as an assistant professor of surgery.
Kidd earned her medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where she also earned a master’s degree in public health with a focus on global health systems and development. She completed general surgery residency training and a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at WashU Medicine.
During her training at WashU Medicine, Kidd was recognized for her efforts in research and education. She received the 2024 Keith D. Amos, MD, Memorial Award for dedication to education and patient care. She completed a research fellowship under the mentorship of the late Dr. Brad Warner. She was recognized as a finalist in the 2021 Samuel Wells Resident Research Day and received a 2022 Rosenkranz Award in Basic Science from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
