On February 18, Patricia Limpert, MD, joined WashU Medicine, after leading a private practice and providing expert surgical care at several regional hospitals for 20 years. She is an American Board of Surgery certified surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
In 2006, Limpert entered private practice, performing general surgery. She then transitioned to focus on breast surgery in 2009 and has continued diagnosing and treating breast cancer and benign breast disease.
“Joining the breast surgery practice at WashU Medicine is an exciting opportunity to provide patients with expert breast care within the trusted, collaborative environment of BJC and affiliated hospitals,” said Limpert. “My patients can expect a personalized approach, grounded in the latest evidence and delivered with empathy and respect.”
Limpert earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2001 and also completed general surgery residency training at SLU in 2006.
Limpert will be consulting and attending patients at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, Missouri Baptist Medical Center and Siteman Cancer Center.
The Department of Surgery welcomes Patricia Limpert, MD, to the Section of Surgical Oncology.
