Meet Dr. Zayed
Dr. Mohamed Zayed is a vascular surgeon specializing in venous and arterial disease, aneurysms, and other vascular conditions.
He has expertise in procedures to address life- and limb-threatening vascular problems. As a surgeon-scientist, Dr. Zayed is also investigating new types of treatments that could improve care for people with diabetes and other severe issues affecting the cardiovascular system.
Dr. Zayed earned his medical degree from University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where he also earned a doctorate in pharmacology. He completed vascular surgery residency training at Stanford University.
