Meet Dr. Masood

Dr. Muhammad Faraz Masood is a cardiac surgeon specializing in heart transplantation, mechanical circulatory support and complex heart surgery.

He has expertise in surgical treatments for heart failure, heart transplant, ECMO and other areas of cardiac surgery.

Dr. Masood earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi. He completed general surgery residency training at Wayne State University in Detroit. Dr. Masood completed fellowships in surgical critical care and valvular diseases and mechanical circulatory support at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a thoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.
