Meet Dr. Gillanders 

Dr. William Gillanders is a surgical oncologist specializing in endocrine surgery. 

He has expertise in thyroid and parathyroid surgery for conditions such as hyperparathyroidism and hyperthyroidism, as well as surgical procedures to treat breast cancer. 

Dr. Gillanders earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. He completed general surgery residency training and a surgical oncology fellowship at WashU Medicine.  

The goal of my research lab is to take advantage of all the advances made by basic scientists and translate them to the clinic to help patients
