Kasiemobi Ebelechukwu (Onyejekwe) Pulliam, MD, has joined the Division of Pediatric Surgery as an assistant professor of surgery.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Kasi Pulliam to our faculty after a highly competitive recruitment process,” said Colin Martin, MD, director of the Division of Pediatric Surgery, who is the Drs. Brad and Barbara Warner Endowed Professor of Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. “She brings with her the full breadth of pediatric surgical expertise, while also providing a unique and much-needed focus on building community partnerships with patients, families, and providers. Dr. Pulliam will lead our new multidisciplinary pediatric obesity and bariatric surgery enterprise, an area of tremendous need for children in our region. Her clinical excellence, vision, and commitment to advancing children’s health make her a remarkable addition to our department.”
Pulliam earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She completed general surgery residency training and a surgical research fellowship at the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. Pulliam completed a pediatric surgery fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Pulliam will be seeing patients at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, St. Louis Children’s Specialty Care Center – West County, and St. Louis Children’s Specialty Care Center – South County.
The Department of Surgery welcomes Kasi Pulliam, MD, to the Division of Pediatric Surgery.
